One year ago the Status Labs team collectively took our first of many steps toward actively improving our company and its operations and pursuing our professional ambitions together under the leadership of our President, Darius Fisher.

Today, our team of 25 has grown into a talented and tight-knit group of 35 SEO experts, social media specialists, public relations strategists, digital marketers, and top-notch creative writers. We’ve established a board of well-respected industry professionals as our trusted advisors to help us navigate our rapidly expanding industry, manage our continued success, and hopefully help us avoid some of the mistakes they made early in their careers.

As we continue to grow as a company, we are making it a priority to regularly engage with our community through local volunteer opportunities whose missions our team members are passionate about. Over the past year, we have worked with Dress for Success, Caritas, Urban Roots, the Capital Food Bank of Texas, and the The Blood & Tissue Center of Central Texas. We also took on our first pro bono project, donating our services to a university professor whose image was defined by viral video clips and was ultimately fired from her job for standing with students who experienced racism on campus.

Striving to operate at our best, we strengthened our policies and formalized our ethics standards regarding the companies and individuals we choose to do business with. Our team is continuously producing great work and gaining industry recognition for our digital strategies. Today, we proudly serve companies and public figures in over 35 different countries.

It has been a whirlwind year for Status Labs, but we are incredibly proud of our team and how we’ve come together to positively impact the direction of our company. We plan to continue our commitment to our clients, our industry, and Austin, Texas–the incredible city we call home.
